[Post 70] Finally, POST SEVENTY!!!

This post is going to be the last one for the assignment!! When I first noticed that I should make 70 posts in this blog, I did not know how to write those. In my case, whenever I had enough time to write a post, I was trying to make posts. I usually made one post in a day, but sometimes, I made three or more posts in a day. For me, the most difficult part in posting was selecting the topics!! Once I choose a topic, I felt that I'm done almost 50% of the whole tasks. As time goes by, I could reduce writing burden. I have still written a short paragraph about what I think at that time at odd time in Korean. I am trying to write something like those topics, but it is tough so far. However, I recognized that "No Pain, No Gain." If there is a pain, then there should have GAIN!! As I am an international student, this class was one of the most difficult but helpful courses. Based on what I learn in this course, I hope I can success on studying in the United States. Thank you!!

[Post 69]........Deer Crash.....

Last Saturday was a BIG day. I had a Christmas Party, which was held by my father's company, and at the same time, my mother was coming to the United States from Korea. I and my father went to the party, and met pretty a large number of people. When I had done the dinner at the party, I came out from the party and tried to pick my mother up to the Montgomery Airport. However, the problem was happened at that point. When I got out from the drive way, I saw a deer, and I stepped on the break. However, there was a car on the opposite road, and there was two more deers following the first one. I couldn't escape the second deer and the DEER HIT MY CAR.....omg.. I was completely shocked and I didn't know what should I do.. I was embarrassed and felt sad for the deer. I went back to the party to let my father know, and I kept crying.. My father calmed me down, and contacted to a police. It was the first time that I hit the deer, and It was still extremely Shocked to me.. The front part of the car was also badly damaged..

[Post 68] How I get relaxed myself.

When I feel tired or weary from my hectic life, I like taking a shower with HOT water. While I'm taking a shower or bath, I feel easy. I feel like all the fatigues of the day are getting out of my body. In addition, it is a good time that I can think nothing, but taking a shower. When I want to feel this condition more, then I sometimes stand under the water for a long time.
After taking a shower, I usually watch a romantic movie alone. Romantic movies also help me to be relaxed. Whenever I watch a romantic movie, I apt to be a emotional person. One of my favorite romantic movies is "the Notebook". This movie brings tears to many people's eyes, and I always drop tears during watching this movie. I like this kind of emotion!! It have never been achieved by anything, but taking a shower and a romantic movie.

[Post 67] Scholarship at the University.

When I was a Korean university student, there is not enough scholarship. There were only two kinds of scholarships that I could get. One was for outstanding students who had more than 4.4 GPA out of 4.5, and the other one is for students who had improved GPA remarkably. I was trying to get the second scholarship, because I had low GPA at that time. I had a promise with my parents that I will show them how much I improved. So I believed that it was good time to show my improved GPA and the scholarship. I had never received any scholarship before, so I tried my best to get a scholarship. I spent most of the time to study. I usually studied at the school library preparing for the assignments and exams. It was tough time, however, I finally got the scholarship at the end of that semester! It was a product of hard working. My parents were also pleased about the scholarship, and I was extremely happy that I was accomplished! Now I know that how glad when I achieve what I desired.

[Post 66] New Year's Day.

One of the most important festival in our country is New Year's Day. Unlike to the United States, people celebrate the holiday with their whole family. It is very difficult for us to gather together at the parent's home except for the big holidays such as New Year's Day. Joining together on this day helps us to strengthen the family's harmony and love. In addition, there is a traditional custom for the day. Most of the young people, who are usually less than 20 years old, receive gifts from the elders on this day. When the young people give a formal style bow of respect to the elderly people, and then they give money to us as a gift. Thinking back into my childhood memories, I did not have many memories about the New Year's Day but this custom. As getting older like 17 years old, I got more than 500 dollars. It has been almost 3 years that I could not take part in my family's New Year's day, I can't wait the day that I get together with all of my family members!

[Post 65] When I was trip to France.

Three years ago, I had traveled to France with my second sister in Christmas season. My sister lived in England for studying at that time, so I and my sister met at the France airport, Charles de Gaulle. We took a subway and a bus to get to the hotel. It was late night aroung 8 o'clock, so we were a little bit scared. From the next day, we went to Louvre Museum, Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame de Paris, Montmatre, and so on. It took almost a whole day to see the Louvre Museum. There were also lots of beautiful Christmas decorations from here to there. We also saw the Nutcracker, which is one of the most famous Christmas ballets at the Opera National de Paris. The ballerinas and ballerinos were marvelous, and the place also wonderful. The performance hall is very huge, and there are lots of ornamentaions. I and my sister enjoyed Paris at that Christmas season, and I hope I can go to Paris soon!

[Post 64] Football.

When I was in Korea, I had never seen any football game. Football is an American sports, so I had no chance to watch this. However, football became one of my family's favorite sport game. I still do not know much about the football rules, however, it is very exciting! In between Alabama and Auburn, I am a little bit a fan of Auburn, so I usually cheer for the Auburn. I also saw the Iron ball two times, last year and this year, and I believe that the each Iron Ball is the most exciting game ever. Other than the college games, I also like to see the NFL, and I am pretty much a fan of Pittsburgh Steelers. Before I came to the United States, what made me to know the football was the football player, Hines Ward. He is a Korean-American, and he is the player of Pittsburgh Steelers. When I lived in Korea, I sometimes watched sport news about him. So I am trying to watch his game. I have never any chance to watch a football game in the stadium, so I hope I would go and watch the football game someday!!
